Laura Kopetsky Tri-Ax, Inc. is looking for qualified drivers who take safety and professionalism seriously. We are only hiring 1-2 drivers, so we will be selective in choosing the right fit for our team.

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years CDL experience
• Clean record – no at-fault incidents, accidents, tickets, or violations in the last 3 years
• Valid DOT physical
• Must pass an FMCSA drug screen
• Dump truck experience strongly preferred (not required)

Indianapolis, Ind. (July 1, 2026) – Beginning Monday morning, July 6, two ramps at southbound I-65 and Raymond Street are expected to temporarily close for reconstruction.
• Ramp from southbound I-65 to eastbound and westbound Raymond Street
• Ramp from eastbound Raymond Street to southbound I-65
The ramps are expected to close around 6 a.m. on or after Monday, July 6. They are expected to reopen by late September, weather permitting.

Overnight Ramp Closures Next Week
Additional overnight ramp closures are scheduled next week at the I-65/I-70 south split for barrier repairs.

Drivers can expect the following restrictions at the I-65/I-70 south split south of downtown:

Monday, July 6 | 11:59 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
• Ramp from southbound I-65 to southbound I-65 closed
• Ramp from southbound I-65 to westbound I-70 reduced to one lane
Tuesday, July 7 | 2:30 a.m. to 5 a.m.
• Ramp from northbound I-65 to northbound I-65 closed
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and seek alternate routes when possible.

Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.

This past weekend, Austin Greenwell and his girlfriend Gillian, proudly represented Laura Kopetsky Tri-Ax, Inc. at the 2026 Kenworth Parade of trucks in Chillicothe, Ohio with our newest addition to our fleet "Glory."

"Glory" was designed to celebrate 250 years of the United States of America, honoring the spirit, strength, and history that have helped shape our nation.

Weekend lane and ramp closures planned on I-70 in downtown Indianapolis
MARION COUNTY, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that weekend lane and ramp closures are planned on I-70 for pavement repairs in downtown Indianapolis.

The following closures are scheduled for this weekend, weather permitting:
• Friday, June 12 at 9 p.m. through Monday, June 15 at 5 a.m.
o I-70 eastbound reduced to two lanes between Belmont Avenue and Madison Avenue, with brief periods of single-lane traffic between 9 p.m. and 12 a.m. each night
o Ramps from Harding Street, Missouri Street/West Street, and Madison Ave. to I-70 eastbound closed
o I-70 eastbound ramps to Harding St. (Exit 78), Missouri St./West St. (Exit 79A), and Illinois Street/Meridian Street (Exit 79B) closed
More weekend closures are planned throughout June to continue pavement repairs, with significant closures on I-70 eastbound and westbound scheduled for the weekend of June 19-22.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and use extra caution while traveling in and around work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
