It’s official — our Director of Racquets, Alexa Guarachi Bruner, has earned a spot in the 2026 Wimbledon Ladies’ Doubles draw alongside partner Alicja Rosolska. First-round doubles matches are scheduled for July 2–3 and will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN+.

Meet Ethan Kern, the new Watersound Club Tennis & Pickleball Head Pro! 🏸🎾💙

Bringing more than 15 years of experience in private club leadership, coaching, and racquet sports programming, Ethan will officially join the Club later this summer, and we are thrilled for him to lead the next chapter of our racquets programming and Member experience.

Most recently serving as the Head Racquet Sports Professional at Paradise Valley Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, Ethan has extensive experience overseeing tennis, pickleball, and padel programming while leading junior development, adult leagues, clinics, social events, and competitive team play. His passion for creating energetic, welcoming, and community-focused experiences has made him a highly respected leader within the racquets industry.

Ethan is excited to connect with our Members both on and off the courts. Please join us in giving him, his wife Brea, their daughter Millie, and Labradoodle Jojo a warm welcome to the Club!
