As our current snowmaker exits the region, we're closely monitoring an even stronger system on Sunday. Here's a look at our first snow map.

The latest data this morning indicates a northern trend for our weekend system where 1-2 feet of snow may be possible for NW Wisconsin. If trends continue, snowfall amounts may need to be adjusted upwards again. See the latest details in this morning's weather blog linked in the comments.

Wood and Portage have checked back in as Partially Open! Trails north of 64 continue to be in great shape as COLD temperatures continue on. Single digit highs this week are forecast to move into the 20’s starting this weekend. The heat wave will likely feel nice, and draw out more snowmobilers, as January draws to a close… 🧐❄️

Great riding in the Iron River area!

As soon as we shovel the Saturday snow, we need to get ready to remove the Sunday snow that will arrive late Saturday night. It will last through early afternoon on Sunday. This go round should be lighter than the last one.
