Woohooo! I believe we got the go-ahead to open June 1st, but there is a lot of information that we need to go through to assure we are opening within the guidelines. Currently all long term spots through Labor Day are taken. All river activities are postponed at least through June 1st. Thank You to all of our wonderful guests that offered so many kind words of support!

5-13-20 News came that camping is not allowed for Memorial Weekend or the week after. It sounds like we will be able to open on June 1st. We are waiting guidance from the Governor and the MN DNR. If you have questions why camping is not allowed please refer to: https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/vivid-19.html When the time comes we are planning to open with health & safety in place. We appreciate each of you and appreciate your continued support! See you soon, stay safe!

Hello all our friends! Thought you could use a little Country Camping update. So far we are planning to be open May 19th, per the Governor. Until then we are working very hard to open with as much safety as we can. Lee even installed a hand wash sink at the dump station. See the photo! He is making a plexiglass-glass screen for our store clerks. Another big deal is that you will be able to self-check in and out. You will be able to go directly to your site and avoid the Friday night line-ups at the store! The store will have limited hours and additional safety measures to comply with COVID-19 guidelines. We will continue to deliver wood, pizza, ice and other store items. When the Governor allows us to open, there may be some restrictions in place, but we will wait and see. We really miss all of you and can’t wait for you to come out and enjoy the great outdoors here at Country Camping. Keep Safe and hope to see you soon!
