Remote Lazy Bear Lodge Closed

Permanently closed.

As of two weeks ago, we have not been able to make it back to the lodge. Two weeks ago we received 2-3 feet of snow from a bomb cyclone. But not before getting about an inch of rain before it. The winds were in excess of 50 mph and caused the snow to pack in hard and freeze the snow onto and into the road making it like concrete. Attempts to clear it were unsuccessful. The Lazy Bear Lodge is closed for good. No more vacation rentals.
