Moose crossing vacation renters - please be aware none of our firepits are approved. No fires!!!!!

Due to the high fire danger, county-wide fire restrictions will go into effect this Friday, July 10th.

Fire restrictions apply to private lands outside of the city limits of Ashton, Newdale, Parker, St Anthony and Teton.
• Open burning, such as burning weeds, ditches, slash piles, etc. will be prohibited.
• Fireworks are prohibited.
• Hot work, such as welding, grinding, and cutting must be performed in a 10-foot area free of combustible materials and a shovel and water source must be present.
• Campfires in approved fire pits are allowed with a shovel and water source.
o Approved fire pits are defined as approximately 16” deep, surrounded by rocks, stones, or bricks that protrude 6” above the ground level and must have a 10’ diameter of cleared space around the fire pit.

This restriction does not include Forest Service or BLM land, their contact information is below for any questions you may have.
