Spent the evening playing music bingo!! Our campers really enjoyed themselves!! We did the 80’s addition and it was a blast!!next time we play we will be listening to the 2000’s

As we recover from last weekend here at South Isle Family Campground, it’s time to this about this weekends Backyard BBQ Cook Off. this activity has slowly been growing in participants over the years and we invite you to join us.

As we’ve done in the past, there is a $20 entry fee. All money from the entry fees will be handed out as prizes for ribs, chicken kabobs or skewers and overall winner. In addition, some great prizes as well.

Please stop by the office to get signed up. For judging purposes, you must provide 6 samples of each (ribs and chicken). Foam containers will be provided for your entries.
You, as a contestant, are responsible for the cost of the meat. All entries will be turned in at a designated time on Saturday afternoon.

If you’d like to be an impartial judge for this years cookoff please let Kim know in the office. We will need 6 judges.

Although Mother Nature started off the weekend with cooler temps and some rain, the warmth and sunshine on Sunday and Monday was awesome! It was nice to see kids back out in the playground and using our new ballfield! In addition to riding the train and wagon rides. We would like to thank all of you who participated in our nickel bingo, trivia night and Saturday evening Ice Cream sundae social.

The getting the pool ready by memorial weekend is always a challenge, but this year everything fell into place and we were ready to open it up on Saturday morning for the 2026 season.

We’d like to thank all of our guests who stayed with us this Memorial Day weekend!

Join us this Saturday (May 30th) for our annual King of the Smoke, Backyard BBQ Cookoff. The meat selection for this years cook off have been decided and here they are: Baby Back or Memphis style ribs (meat 1) and Chicken Skewer or Kabobs (meat 2).
