NICE YEAR ROUND HOUSE FOR RENT THIS WEEKEND

We have our large rental unit we call “The House” available for rent this weekend! It was built as a year round house and it is very comfortable for up to 6 people.

It has two bedrooms with 2 twin beds in each and a set of twin bunk beds in the open floor plan living room, kitchen and dining room. It includes a/c, tv/ dvd, electric fireplace, all pot, pans, dishes and silverware. You do need to bring your bedding and towels.

Outside you have a picnic table and a campfire spot. The price of $245 per night includes up to 6 people and your boat launches.

UPDATE FOR THIS WEEKEND

We have our large cabin we call “The House” available for this weekend. It is very comfortable for up to 6 people with cable TV, air conditioning, and DVD player.

We also have a couple of campsites available as well. One of them has full hookups.

The weather for Friday and Saturday looks incredible, with a chance of some rain on Sunday! The fishing has been very good when the wind is lower, with nice slot fish!

OPENINGS THIS WEEKEND

We have some openings this weekend both in cabins and camping. The weather looks good for the weekend and the fish are biting.

Last weekend we had some very high winds which limited people’s ability to get out during a lot of the day. The ones who got out early before the winds picked up and those who fished the north and northwest portions of the lake did the best. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of 18-21” fish which were caught. They are all very healthy looking.

12x32 DELUXE FISH HOUSE FOR RENT FOR THE SUMMER SEASON

We had a late cancellation on one of our Premier Ice Cabins. It is 12x32 with 2 double beds( bunk beds) and 5 single beds( also bunk beds). It is carpeted and has nice paneling on the walls. It has a microwave, two burner cooktop, air conditioning, smart TV, and a dvd player.

A season boat access pass and electricity while you are using the house is included. It also has a separate changing/ storage room inside the house. The price is $2,250 for the entire summer season.

DELUXE 12x24 FISH HOUSE FOR RENT FOR THE ENTIRE SUMMER

We have one of our Premier Ice Cabins for rent for the entire summer. You get exclusive use of the house and you can park your boat near it and leave your personal belongings in it for the summer.

It has 2 double beds(bunk beds), 2 twin beds(also bunk beds) and a twin trundle bed. It has heat and electric, as well as a 2 burner cooktop stove and a microwave. There is a smart TV and C/D player. Cable service is available. There is a large table and chairs. It sits on a hill with a view of the lake.

Season boat access is included in the price of $2,025 for the summer. Electricity while you are staying in the house is included as well.

SUMMER FISH HOUSE SPOTS AND SUMMER SEASONAL RV SITES

We have 2 summer seasonal RV sites available for next summer. They are both very nice, large sites near the lake with electric, sewer, and water.

LAST WEEKEND OF THE SEASON

I am sitting here waiting to see how much snow, rain and storm we get. The forecasts say we are right on the edge between rain and snow and that most of the snow will stay north of us. I wish I had more faith in their predictions. What comes, comes and we will deal with it.

Sunday is the close of the walleye season and we will have all of our houses of by Sunday afternoon. Our access will close for the winter season on Sunday afternoon, as well. If you want to continue fishing for perch, we would encourage you to visit resorts who are staying open. Generally these are resorts who have bars and restaurants which stay open year round.

Fishing last weekend was a lot of the same as the prior weekends. We did see the beginning of a shallow walleye bite on the rocks in 15-18’. There were still a lot of smaller ones, but we also saw some slot fish. Perch continue to bite along the mud/gravel break line in around 27’ and also deeper in the mud in 30-33’. Still a lot of smaller ones but some jumbos mixed in.

Remember the perch contest at Hunters Point this Saturday. Historically perch from our resort have done well in that contest. We have a few rental houses open this weekend, including a Premier Ice Cabin so give us a call. Most are deeper in good perch country, but we have a couple shallower on the rocks, as well.

UPDATE FEBRUARY 11, 2026

Our ice is in great shape with no bridges or cracks. The weather this weekend should be fantastic. There is not a lot of snow on the lake so travel along our roads is easy. We have a ton of driveways already plowed for you so you just pull into whichever one you like.

You can celebrate Valentines Day or fish in a perch contest. We have a few rentals still open for this weekend and on Monday when the kids don’t have school.

The fishing has been good. A lot of action but still some sorting through some small ones to find the keepers. It should really take off this weekend with the warm, stable weather.

WARM WEATHER HELPS FISHING

The recent warmer weather has really helped the fishing. We moved most of our rental houses deeper and the catch of walleyes and nice perch has improved a lot.

Most of our houses are out on the mud in 26-32’. We have seen some bigger walleyes which were not biting as well during the very cold weather.

JUSTIN MORNEAU ICE FISHING CLASSIC AT HUNTERS POINT THIS SATURDAY

Come up and take part in this great charity event! The weather is going to be the best we have had in weeks and the fish should really turn on.

We are seeing more bigger fish along with the abundant smaller fish. We have fantastic rock, gravel and mud structure and have rental houses in both walleye and perch spots.

We have one Premier Ice Cabin and a couple of 6 hole/ 4 bunk rental houses still available. We have plowed driveways everywhere in our territory for portables and wheel houses. Just pick the one you like and pull in.
