Hello and CONGRATULATIONS Everyone. As of today, we won the campaign and I have become the CHS Vice President of Marketing.

Today I would like to thank each and every one of you for supporting me in this journey. I really could not have done a lot of what I have done without you guys.

More specifically, I would like to thank my campaign team.

I would like to thank Aishwarya Singh and Dillon Potter for helping spread the word whenever they could.

I would like to thank Andrew Grazier for helping me reorganize my campaign and set me on the right track. He's the type of person who will always treat you well and provide assistance no matter what.

There's a special thank you to George Jiang for always making some time to help me out. He would provide assistance beyond the campaign and is just an amazing guy. He always gets things done! If you need anything, George is ALWAYS your person.

I would love to thank Doris Zhou for doing everything in her power to be supportive, amazing, and coming up with brilliant ways I could reach out to people. She's never given up on me and encouraged me to stay passionate. As a hardworking, insightful, and efficiently hospitable person, she's truly a model Hotelie.

Lastly, I would like to thank Kyra Roach for being such an amazing candidate for CHS VP of Marketing. She definitely put a ton of effort into the campaign and gave it her all. She is an amazing person and someone willing to do anything for her friends, supporters, and the Hotel School. To put it simply, she was more than qualified to become the CHS,CC Vice President of Marketing.

Thank you everyone for giving me the chance to represent you in CHS. I promise to keep you all updated throughout the year and do everything in my power to keep the promises I made to you. Enjoy your winter break.

Here's how I plan to serve my fellow hotelies

1. Helping Hotelies Secure Internship Opportunities- Several Hotelies want to pursue CHS opportunities but are unsure of how to properly engage with alumni. As a freshman, I understand the difficulties behind networking. I will strive to market new “Pre-Coffee Chat” sessions to help students looking to find internship advice on communicating themselves and learn how to utilize the CHS alumni network. I will also push to make this available on all social media platforms.

2. Networking Opportunities Globally- Hotelies are interested in expanding their network but are concerned with finding opportunities to meet CHS alumni in their field of interest. I propose marketing an online service that specializes in showing alumni nearby and the professional field.

3. Physical Stands- Hotelies like the idea of more engaging ways of promoting CHS events. I propose we take one of the tables in front of Nestle Library biweekly to showcase upcoming CHS events.

I am running for the Cornell Hotel Society, Collegiate Chapter Vice President of Marketing.

It's only been one semester, yet CHS has already made a phenomenal impact on my life. It helped secure me internship opportunities around the world and connections to top industry professionals.

It's my mission to help Hotelies understand the awesome power of CHS,CC so that they too may be aware of opportunities to broaden their horizons, pursue world-class career opportunities, and embrace becoming a Hotelie for Life!
