VOLUNTEERS NEEDED at NRT State Park

Interested in helping out at an exciting and beautiful outdoor venue?
We are excited to announce an open "all call to service" for volunteers to help out at The New River Trail Challenge Triathlon, 09/20/2026

No paperwork or signup sheet required.
Simply show up at the locations listed below at the designated times and look for a park employee holding a volunteer sign.

Volunteer in either the a.m. or p.m. or make a day of it and volunteer during both time slots.

**Date:**9/19/26
**Time:** 10am- **Location:**Lower Boat Ramp Foster Falls New River Trail State Park -Foster Falls, Max Medows Va
**Help will be needed organizing bikes and placing kayaks into the water, as triathlon participants transition from cycling to kayaking.

**Time:** 1:30pm- **Location**Behind Amphitheater Foster Falls New River Trail State Park -Foster Falls, Max Medows Va
**Help will be needed unloading kayaks from trucks for participants to pick up**

Assignment may change as assistance is needed throughout the park.
A helping hand and a positive attitude makes this event memorable for everyone.

"Easy self check-in. Spotless, comfortable, exactly as described. This is the best well thought out post-friendly accommodation I have ever seen. The cleanest rental I have ever rented. My two year old dog had his vacation off a lifetime. He did not want to leave, he absolutely loved the porch, as did I. He was king of his private compound roaming freely in this superb fenced in yard with his head held high. The cabin design and decor was spot on. The grounds were well groomed. The firepit was stocked with wood. The grill and grill accessory box was a wonderful addition. Love the assortment of magazines, books, travel guides, and brochures. The AC and roku tv worked perfect. The appliances were modern, in super condition and worked great. The kitchen had everything you needed."
