What a weekend of fun and fellowship with this family! Fifteen people took part in making FIFTY tote bags for the Light Mission Africa which supports young boys and girls through educational opportunities. We were even treated to a traditional breakfast of mandazi by Christa who serves as a missionary for this community based organization.
Thanks to each of you but also to all those who helped contribute to this weekend with your donations. Let us know if you'd like to learn more about how to contribute to this wonderful mission.

The Craft House Retreat

The Craft House in Jacksboro, Texas is currently under renovations to restore the home to its past beauty in the center of town and on beautifully landscaped and tree-covered acreage. The home is being opened up as a retreat-style bed and breakfast for quilters and other creatives who wish to spend time with one another in a warm and inviting setting.

Upon completion, the home will accommodate up to 12 guests in four bedrooms with breakfast provided each morning. Other meals may be enjoyed on the premises or in town at any of the local restaurants. The large living areas accommodate twelve work tables with both cutting and pressing stations.

We look forward to sharing the progress with you and hope to see you and your friends as guests at The Craft House Retreat in the near future.
