More isn't always better when designing a vacation rental.

After designing, setting up and managing 100+ vacation properties, we've learned that every item you add has a cost beyond its price tag. Someone has to clean it, move it, maintain it and eventually replace it.

We still love bold, colorfully designed spaces. The goal isn't minimalism. It's making sure the design budget goes toward the things that actually improve the guest experience.

Sometimes the best design decision is knowing when you're done.

Let's take a quick tour of one of our newest rentals in Jax Beach! For this classic beach bungalow, we decided to have some fun with color and definitely did not play it safe. For this house, we helped project manage interior painting and minor renovation work, then took it through furnishing, outfitting, styling, and finally into a guest ready rental.

While we're excited about the launch, this project came with a great team story. One of our longtime cleaning partners, owner of Aguaviva cleaning .lopez.cpt stepped up her design game and absolutely ran with it. She has always had an incredible eye for design and when we gave her the opportunity to take the lead on this one, she knocked it out of the park. The result? A colorful, happy beach house only a few blocks from the ocean.

Time to welcome the guests!
