HEY JACKSONVILLE, HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEWS?
Downtown Oktoberfest is set to launch the Pilot Program for Jacksonville’s very first Social District, this September 26th.
You heard that right! We pitched the idea, the city got behind it, and the work is being done to make it a reality.
With support from City Council and staff, this dream for Downtown is headed in the right direction. A Social District means more foot traffic for local brick and mortars, more opportunities for events, and encourages downtown entrepreneurship and business opportunities.
For us, it’s always been about the bigger picture, and the long term goals for downtown. From the early days of Clove Hitch just being a sketch on paper, we always envisioned Court Street coming alive again, and we’re super excited to share that we’re one step closer to making this happen.
We’re committed to putting Downtown Jacksonville on the map and bringing new experiences to our area.
