One of the most relaxing parts of staying at Whispering Pines Retreat:
Fishing right from the dock.

Our private pond is stocked with bass and bluegill, and some of our favorite guest memories come from mornings spent casting a line while the mist rises off the water.

Sometimes the fish are biting…
sometimes it’s just an excuse to sit quietly and watch the wildlife.

Either way, it’s a pretty great way to spend a morning.

Feeding time at the pond 🐟

From the dock it looks calm…
but just below the surface it’s a completely different story.

Our pond is stocked with bluegill and bass, and this is what happens every evening when the feeder goes off.

Guests love watching the feeding frenzy — and sometimes casting a line right after.

Nature is never boring out here 🌲

We opened Whispering Pines in July 2025 with equal parts excitement and uncertainty.

By year’s end:
• Nearly every weekend was booked
• December was completely full
• 93 nights hosted in our first partial year

What surprised us most wasn’t just the bookings—it was how many guests told us the cabin became their place to reconnect, reset, and breathe.

Thank you to every guest who made Whispering Pines what it is today. We’re incredibly grateful and excited for what’s ahead.
