Get your reservations in by today, Thur. 10/10. Last day to reserve at the campgrounds for the season! FF will be offered through Mon. 10/14, last camping night. We close the gates by 11 am on Tue. 10/15 Vista Recreation U.S. Forest Service - Kaibab National Forest at Jacob Lake & DeMotte Campgrounds for another great season!!

Our staff of camp hosts have worked hard and tirelessly throughout the season to bring a memorable stay for all of our guests that stayed with us this year. I'm sharing this beautiful photo taken at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon that was featured in Arizona Highways Magazine.

DeMotte campground is only 7 miles from the North Rim entrance.

Campgrounds near the Grand Canyon

Jacob Lake Recreation Area is conveniently located in Jacob Lake, AZ, the gateway to the Grand Canyon's North Rim. The campground is nestled among the towering ponderosa pine trees of the North Kaibab National Forest, where ample opportunities abound to enjoy nature, from hiking and mountain biking, to birding. The facility is across the street from Jacob Lake Inn, which has a restaurant, gas station, gift shop with limited groceries, and the Kaibab Plateau Visitor Center. The nearest full facilities are 30 to 40 miles away in Fredonia, AZ, and Kanab, UT.

The DeMotte Campground is located within the North Kaibab Ranger District just seven miles north of the entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park's North Rim. This is about 25 miles south of the Kaibab Plateau Visitor Center on Arizona’s Highway 67.
