ove playing in the canal on the provided kayaks, or swimming. If you would like to go to the beach, our community has drive on beaches too! No need to carry everything to the beach, when you can drive on with your car/truck or rentable golf carts. Enjoy listening to the calls of sea gulls, or watching the pelicans flying from bay to beach (or in the evenings the reverse). Feel all your stress wash away at Our Happy Place! Both the interior and exterior of Our Happy Place has been given special attention for a peaceful and fun getaway with beach decor and light airy colors. Sleeps easily 6-8 people. We offer 2 king size beds (yes 2), and 1 queen size bed. And the bonus with our house, we have a full bathroom on the ground level, as well as, on the 2nd floor. So, no need to climb stairs each time you need to go to the bathroom! Not all bay or beach homes are able to offer ground level bathrooms. But, our house was grandfathered in to allow this. Located just 11 miles from the Seawall Blvd in Galveston. Our community has several restaurants, bars, coffee house, grocery store, etc.
