Late fall is still pretty magical ✨🍁💫🍎 it’s been a whirlwind of leaf peepers, special celebrations, big parties, and busy nights. We’re about ready to hibernate, soon…

But! We are winding down the season with two more weekends of good food, good company, and lots of fun. Come visit us this weekend and next, and join in the magic!

✨Come by on Saturday, October 24th for live music from Jenna Rice from 6-8 PM
✨Join us for our second annual Halloween bash on Saturday 10/31. Spooky cocktails, costumes, monster mash on repeat. No regular dinner service, but we’ll have plenty of food and drinks from 5-9 PM
✨Stay tuned for details about our staff and community celebration on Sunday, 11/1

As a heads up, we’ll be taking a stick season break from November 2nd until Friday, November 27th! Get your R&R fill while you can!

Happy Wednesday! 🍁 There’s a lot of new folks here (shoutout to Travel Like a Local: Vermont ) and I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce River & Rye.

R&R is a restaurant, inn, and gathering place located in Jamaica, Vermont. Our restaurant is open Thursday-Sunday for dinner, and features a menu carefully curated by our chef, Andrew, to be fun, accessible, and celebratory of the food system that makes our part of Vermont special.

Our inn is a magical minimalist getaway. We host our rooms through AirBNB, and they feature stunning bathrooms, views and outdoor/river access, and performance bedding from Bedgear. You’re also walking distance to our restaurant, the picturesque village, and Jamaica State Park.

We’re also working hard to make sure that everything we do at River & Rye is rooted in our community’s vibrancy. We host local artists and musicians, make sure our neighbors get tapped to vend for special events like weddings and parties, and feature Vermont products, produce, and booze as much as we can.

So! Come visit us! Make a reservation for dinner (or just pop in to the bar), spend a weekend at the inn, and experience what it’s like to see our love-of-place personified in a small business.

The foliage is on fire!! Jamaica is showing OFF! We’re thrilled to welcome in this busy season, and will be featuring some of our friends and neighbors’ music at the restaurant over the next few weeks.

We’re open the rest of the weekend with lots of new fall menu items, live music from Sam Chapin on Saturday, and the cozy vibes you need as we inch towards foliage season!!

✨Lately✨

We spent the late summer experimenting on fun new dishes, hosting celebrations, eating cheese, drinking spritzes and local beers.

We’re reveling in the last of the warm, green days before the leaves change and the visitors ramp up. Come see us this weekend, we’re open Thurs-SAT. On Sunday, we’re closed to the public as we celebrate a special wedding 💚

Things that change with the seasons: our cocktails, the produce we feature in our dishes, the prevalence of flannel on our guests.

Things that don’t change with the seasons: centering and celebrating our community, delicious food and drink, and dirty fries. We’ll always have dirty fries.

It’s the lull between busy seasons, but we’re still here ✌️and Jamaica is looking and feeling extra special.

You’ve got three chances to join us this weekend- we’re open Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 5-9 PM. On Friday, we’ll also have Jamaica’s famous Buzzards playing live from 6-8 PM.
