The first day of fall has arrived. 🍁

Autumn brings one of the most colorful seasons to Tennessee State Parks. While nature doesn't follow a strict calendar, these estimated peak color windows can help you plan your visit to experience the changing leaves across the state.

Of course, fall offers more than vibrant foliage. Cooler weather is the perfect time to hit the trails by bike, explore on horseback, paddle a quiet lake, cast a line, cozy up in a cabin, or enjoy one of our many park programs and fall festivals.

Start planning your autumn adventure and book your getaway at tnstateparks.info/FallPlanning2026.
