Little Sugar Farm

Little Sugar Farm Retreats, Weddings, Reunions, Weekend Adventures in Glamping Tents and our heritage Farmhouse. It's always beautiful on the farm! Jana, Paul & Niki

On the banks of the Little Sugar Creek where our ancestors bought land in the mid 1800s lies the Little Sugar Farm of almost 400 acres. Jana and Niki inherited the property in 2006 after our Pawpaw died where he and our Grandmother Junie lived since the mid 1960s raising cattle, chickens, pigs and hay. Prior to our grandparents our great grandparents Turner & Von Russell owned the property and ou

r great, great grandparents Willie and Zora were actually the first of our ancestors to live in the farmhouse which from what we can tell was built in 1914. The farmhouse was at the time built with two bedrooms and one bath then throughout the years it has been added onto now including three bedrooms, bunkroom, 2 1/2 baths and 2 living areas, dining and kitchen, including a large porch perfect for watching wildlife added in the 1950's. In the mid 1970's, June & Clark added a new kitchen, living room, master bedroom and master bathroom. An interior room was once an office is now the "bunk room", perfect for kids to hide out in! Our farmhouse has been a vacation rental since 2010 with hundreds of guests enjoying the farm, nature, creek and local activities throughout the last decade. In 2020 Jana and Paul created the Glamping and Gathering business for unique and new accommodations for guests stays at the farm that would allow us to share even more of our farm with others and allow for groups to gather outside and enjoy the heritage that we've been so grateful to inherit. In addition to the farmhouse we now have over 80 acres which hosts 4 Safari tents, 3 bell tents, a shower house facility with four full baths and two outdoor showers, two outdoor showers and large 2,800 square foot deck two barns and access to the Little Sugar Creek. Our farm has been a gift for entire life and we are so very happy to share it with others and look forward to your visit!

Hi Ya'll!

Oh my gosh it's been awhile AND we have so many new followers I thought I'd drop in and say hi and introduce myself. My name is Jana and I'm the person behind pretty much everything having to do with the Little Sugar Farm.

My sister and I became owners of the Little Sugar Farm after our Pawpaw passed away in 2006. The farm has been in our family on our grandmother Junie's side since around 1900 with our family having located to this area in SW Missouri in the mid 1800s. My sister Niki and I were raised in Dallas, Texas and she still lives in that area and my husband Paul and I moved up here to Jane, Missouri in 2020 to start the glamping and event business adding to the Little Sugar Farmhouse vacation rental business that we started from afar in 2010.

Paul and I live on the north side of the farm right where my Daddy had a mobil home 50 years ago and I run 99% of the business by myself because Paul works full time in Rogers, Arkansas.

I do have several people that work for us mowing and housekeeping but most of the labor is me and the hub. I am the social media marketing person, the planner, the creator, the finance person, and all those things small business owners do.

We've got a lot going on this year on the farm and to be honest it does get a little overwhelming sometimes with all the things. I do garden and we've got three pets including a dog Bridget and two kitties Charlie and Jupiter.

I'm in the phase of life where I love what I do, ya'll are worth it, just know it's me answering emails, messages and providing all the information to everyone so sometimes it take me a bit to get back to you but don't let me forget ok? Text me if you can't catch me on FB messenger or through Instagram and I'll get back to you faster.

Thanks for reading and have a magical summer!

Cheers!
💙 Miss Jana

Ya'll these phenomenal women will be back this fall for Farm to Spell! Their sessions are amazingly popular during this event and we can't wait to have them back. More details coming soon for this popular event!🩵💙🩵💙

It’s been awhile since we’ve done an intro post to remind our followers of the faces & names behind the business 😉
Being in business for nearly 4 years serving the local NWA community & beyond, we’ve gotten accustomed to many people knowing the name of our business but sometimes not realizing the background & assets our hypnotists bring to the studio & their clients.

𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢

Kristi (top right) is one of the heart-centered hypnotists behind our studio. She brings a calm, grounded, & deeply supportive presence into her sessions, helping clients feel safe enough to relax, release, & reconnect with themselves.

Kristi’s background in real estate & lending has given her years of experience walking people through some of life’s biggest decisions- moments that often come with stress, fear, uncertainty, & the need for trust. That experience translates naturally into her hypnosis work, where she brings a grounded, steady presence & a deep ability to listen, guide, & support clients as they move through personal change. She understands how powerful it is to feel seen, heard, & supported… & she brings that same care into every session with our clients.

Her work often supports clients through stress, habits, fears, confidence, emotional blocks, & life transitions. Kristi has a natural way of meeting people exactly where they are- with compassion, encouragement, & a steady belief in their ability to create change.

𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧

Kristalyn (bottom left) is the co-owner of Insight Hypnosis Studio & brings a blend of creativity, intuition, & subconscious change-work into everything she does.

With a background rooted in helping others through her nursing career & corporate roles, Kristalyn is passionate about making hypnosis feel approachable, empowering, & deeply supportive. Her work often focuses on nervous system regulation, confidence, identity shifts, emotional healing, manifestation, spiritual exploration, & helping clients reconnect with the version of themselves they’re becoming.

She loves creating experiences that feel both meaningful & transformative — from individual sessions to workshops, group hypnosis, QHHT, Hypnosis in Color, & other creative offerings through the studio.
🤍🤍🤍

Together, Kristi & Kristalyn are honored to serve their NWA community (& beyond!) through compassionate, personalized hypnosis for real-life change.

Give us a follow, come try a group session, give us an opportunity to show you how you can shine.
We cannot wait to serve you! 💚🙏🏼

🍃It's hard to believe that downtown Bentonville is only 20 minutes from the farm. Bentonville is the home of Walmart and all the vendors associated with that giant corporation. Growing up in the summers here I remember this town as a small and rural where our grandmother Junie had a cafe at the local sale barn which was located on the sharp turn on hwy 71 not far from downtown.

Junie bought my first pair of tennis shoes at the first Walmart store and she was a loyal customer for many, many years. The museum on the square has all sorts of memorabilia from the past including Sam Walton's truck. I met Sam one summer while I was working at the TCBY in town. He drove up in that old truck and asked for a frozen yogurt. I had no idea who he was until my co-worker told me I'd just served Sam Walton yogurt.

Lots of changes in this town. In 1990 the population was around 11 thousand people now it is over 65 thousand and it keeps growing and it's only one town in NW Arkansas, they are all growing. The population of all NW Arkansas is 622 thousand with a projection of 660 thousand by 2030.

Living out on our farm and having our business here seems surreal at times knowing there is so much growth so close. Restaurants, shopping, museums, XNA airport, all within a short drive.

I do love the country but it is nice being able to have so much of the city we came from close by.
