20 years ago, a small group of dedicated local farmers planted the seed that has grown into our beloved Janesville Farmers Market. From its humble beginnings on Main Street to today’s dynamic experience at Town Square, the JFM continues to bring people together to celebrate all things local.
♥️ Recently, we refreshed our mission statement to better reflect who we are as an organization: The JFM strives to be a vibrant hub where local producers thrive, community members connect and learn, and everyone is welcome.
And as a private nonprofit, community support isn’t just helpful, it’s a necessity. Please join us as we honor the past 20 years and work to secure a bright, shining future.
20th Anniversary Celebration Activities this Saturday, October 4:
✨ 10 AM: Ribbon-cutting at the Info Booth (Festival Street end of the pedestrian bridge)
✨ Buy raffle tickets for our fundraiser with prizes from JFM Vendors, JFM Swag, and more. Drawings at 12:30pm! (JFM Info Booth)
✨ Explore a real fire truck hosted by the Janesville Fire Department
✨ Play games on the lawn hosted by ECHO, Inc.
✨ 20th Anniversary photo opp
✨ Tattoos, coloring pages, and make-your-own chalk art
✨ And, buy your Flavor-Fall Sips passports for October 11 at the JFM Info Booth
