This young man was a renter at Bearfeet Retreat and caught the golden trout! Congratulations!

Another golden trout was recently caught on Big Canoe’s golden 50th anniversary! The lucky angler was Tim Kauger, a guest of Big Canoe, who hooked the golden trout Golda Meir on Lake Petit. For catching the prized fish, Tim received a gift certificate for a complimentary two-hour pontoon ride. Congrats, Tim! And if the bald eagles haven’t caught them all, there are at least four more golden trout left for fishing enthusiasts to catch. Cast those lines!
