Arkansas' Lost Valley Trail is one of the most beautiful hikes along the Buffalo National River, winding 2.3 miles through the heart of the Ozark Mountains. The trail begins at the beautiful Natural Bridge Falls, an eight-foot waterfall flowing directly out of the small opening in the bluff known as the Natural Bridge. Depending on the season, the water here can glow an emerald blue. Next, youโ€™ll pass by Cob Cave, a massive 200-foot bluff shelter thatโ€™s perfect for taking in the towering rock formations. The highlight of the trail is Eden Falls, a stunning 53-foot cascade over cliffs into a pool below. Beyond Eden Falls, the trail becomes rugged and steep as it leads to a 200-foot cave with a waterfall inside. This hike offers one of the best looks at the natural beauty of the Ozarks surrounding the Buffalo National River.
