After spending the early part of summer chewing their way around the mountain, the Chew Crew has been enjoying a well-earned break. We’ve been anxiously awaiting their return ever since, and they’ll be back soon to begin their fall shift.

Which feels like a good time to pull this one from the archives and revisit the highly sophisticated operation behind our four-legged trail crew.

You can also meet the goats in person at the 17th Annual Bean & Brew Festival on Saturday, October 17. Beer, coffee, live music and goats. Fall has its priorities straight.

The Jay Peak Trail Running Festival returns to Stateside this weekend, September 5 + 6, with everything from three flavors of 5K and a kids race on Saturday to 11 miles, 22 miles and a 53.1K Ultra on Sunday.

Come run your first trail race, bring the kids, chase a PR or find out exactly how long your legs are willing to negotiate with you.

We’re taking the long way into fall.

Scenic Route Weekends make their debut at Jay Peak on select Saturdays this season, with Tram rides, cider pressing and pumpkin painting with Kane’s Sugaring Outfit, guided hikes, horse-drawn carriage rides, hot doughnuts and a mountain doing its annual color-changing trick.

The cheapest way to get better at skiing might be making the decision while there’s still grass under the chairlifts.

Book select Ski & Ride School programs by September 21 and save 50% on eligible Monday through Thursday sessions during the 26+27 season.

The deal covers Adult Beginner and Intermediate Group Lessons, Private Lessons and all SnoGo programs, with select holiday periods excluded.

Cirque Series makes its Jay Peak debut September 26, sending runners across 7.1 miles and up 3,044 vertical feet through ski trails, service roads, rocky alpine terrain and all the way to the summit before eventually returning them to Tramside.

The field is capped at 500 runners, with registration including race swag, professional photos, Vendor Village access and an after-party once your legs start speaking to you again.
