Burn Ban in place immediately!!!

Update: Jefferson County is still under a burn ban until further notice, we all have been busy this past week. Please do not burn!!!

This is from the Jefferson County Office of Emergency Management.

Due to lack of needed precipitation, dry conditions exist over all of Jefferson County. This increases the level of fire danger tremendously. A Burn Ban has been issued for all of Jefferson County including the cities of Pine Bluff, White Hall, Sherrill, Altheimer, Wabbaseka, Humphrey, and Redfield. The Burn Ban is in effect immediately and will continue until further notice.
