why you should Vote to hire Maura instead of the other guy
(and instead of taking two cars!!):

📢 please consider donating no longer used gear suitable for winter survival to ministries that help the homeless get by

if you pass it on to me* I get it to those living outside in Berlin and Littleton

• tents
• dry bags
• coats
• boots
• socks
• under-layers
• snowpants
• rope, carabiners, etc
• hats, gloves, mittens, balaclavas, gaiters
• jet boils and fuel
• freeze dried etc food
• pads/ ground covers
• sleeping bags
• bivy and bothy
• hot hands and mylar
• headlamps and lights
• batteries
• battery packs

not limited to above ⏫️
but please Adult clothing only
there are surely bins 📦 close to your homes and thrift stores to donate to

yes, you can just bring unused gear to a thrift store but
while it's always good for an outdoorsy person to score a deal
it's imperative to me that as much of that gear goes to those who can't afford to buy those deals for themselves simply so they can survive

(most have no transportation to shop)

* if you give it to me please make sure it's in plastic bag that can close/tie shut
-- it will go in truck bed and it may rain (double bagged is best)

I miss driving XNHATs
I love going to Wells River
it's like the setting of a Hallmark movie
~ and in my opinion the true start to trail

dropped Pop & Jr at the visitor center which has delightful volunteers
(today's brought her guard dog)
and complimentary bathroom
(I don't say Free, nothing is free
if you use it, please consider throwing some $ in the jar)
plus maps, wifi, and the usual stuff... and comfy yellow rockers

then I had a treat-yo-self at Tuttles Family Diner where I was waited on by my new best friend Robin
followed by ice cream at scoop

📢 there is a small motel right in Wells River .... and steak house for supper... I've never understood why more of y'all don't stay there

a few honest souls admit No

a couple, though, say they have a Bivy*
and I say Good Answer

~~ your precious cargo is safe with me

plus I'm a registered business with NH SOS, so if anything went south (not that it will!) you have legal recourse against me by contacting AGs office

I already use my real full name on everything along with my face--
SOS also has my address, etc
