This mama Hen is amazing! This is her second brood of chicks this summer. I walked in tonight just to check on them and she put her wing out to protect the little black chick as I got close to take their photo! Amazing mother hen! I think I will name her Marion after my mom, who was the best mother and always looked after so many chickies!
