If you’re looking for a meaningful way to honor the upcoming Memorial Day, Veterans Memorial Park in Port St. Lucie is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. It’s dedicated to remembering those who served, offering a quiet space to reflect, spend time with family, or simply pause in gratitude and remember the true meaning of the day.

You’ll find:
• A Ceremonial Pentagon surrounded by 12 benches
• A 24-hour lighted visitation area with seating and a table
• Memorials honoring all branches of the U.S. military, including:
Vietnam Veterans Wall, World War II Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Purple Heart Memorial, Gold Star Family Memorial, and Iraq & Afghanistan War Memorial
• ADA-accessible restrooms

This week was Board Week, and we couldn’t be more grateful for such a hands-on, dedicated group! Our board members rolled up their sleeves to unload a truck full of new balcony chairs and even assembled them! Their teamwork and willingness to pitch in truly reflects the strong sense of community we have.

Did you know St. Lucie County offers FREE guided nature hikes? The March and April calendars are live, giving you the chance to explore a variety of beautiful trails led by knowledgeable guides.

Each program features different topics, locations, and distances—perfect for all ages and ability levels. Space is limited and reservations are required, so be sure to plan ahead!

Guided Nature Programs within the St. Lucie County Environmental Lands project began with the passage of a $20 million local bond program approved by voters in 1994. Since then, the County has succeeded in more than tripling the initial funding through local, state, and federal partnerships.

Beach Renourishment Update!
We’ve been chatting with the crew, and they’re estimating 3–4 more days of work before they move on.
Our guests (and all of us!) can’t wait for the beach to reopen so we can enjoy the beautiful beach and get our toes sandy again. Thanks to everyone for your patience—we’re almost there!

UPDATE: Beach Restoration Project is behind schedule!
No official updates on the county website, but we are hearing that they are possibly a month or more behind schedule, due to a part breaking on the dredging ship.

🌊 Beach Renourishment Project! 🌴
The work will cover about 4 miles of shoreline, including the area in front of Turtle Reef. Based on the current schedule, the crews are expected to be on our stretch of beach around February 28 to March 9. Our stretch of beach should take 3-4 days.
During this time, you may notice heavy equipment on the sand and temporary access restrictions as they move through the area.
