HorseThief Reservoir received approximately 4 inches of rain during last night's storm, along with strong winds that caused some damage around the lake. We had two pontoons flipped over, several items blown around the campground and storage areas, some downed trees, and minor structural damage in a few areas. โ›ˆ๐Ÿ’จ

The good news is that all campers stayed upright, our yurts remain intact, and no one was injured. โ€ผ All campers with visible damage have been notified... but if you are a long-term camper or have belongings stored in our storage area, we ask that you stop by to check on your items to ensure everything is accounted for and secure.

โ˜€ The sun is out and drying things up, while our team is cleaning up the park to make sure the facilities are ready for you all to enjoy again!

Today's the day to see if you can FLOAT YOUR BOAT at HorseThief!

๐Ÿ™Œ ๐Ÿšฃโ€โ™€๏ธ Duct Tape has been restocked and there may be some limited supplies left in The Lodge. You have until 3PM to finish your boats. Then we will see you at the Swim Beach around 3:30PM with the races starting at 4:00PM.

Due to the rain we received last night, the ground is much softer and vehicles can easily tear up the grass and create ruts.

Parking on the grass is NOT allowed anywhere in the campground except in designated primitive camping areas marked by arrows on the map.

All vehicles, trailers, and equipment must remain:

โœ”๏ธ Or on the roadway
