Come hungry because we're serving up delicious pulled pork sandwiches and loaded baked potatoes all weekend long for just $10 each! 🥩🍟

🚨 This week’s Lake Limestone fishing report from local guide Colan Gonzales

🐟 Largemouth are starting to head out to deeper water . They'll be caught on spinnerbaits, Texas rigs , Carolina rigs all day , (frogs and buzzbaits early)
They're hanging around docks ,timber,and brush piles on points . 4 to 15 foot is the target depth .

🐠 Crappie, are suspended on timber from 12 to 20 foot deep . And the offshore brush piles are loaded.
Brush pile crappie are hanging from 10 to 18 foot .
They can be caught on crappie minnows from anytime bait .

🎣 Whitebass are schooling all day long right now . They're stacked up on mainlake humps and flats . Trolling rigs, and popping war eagle super spoons off the bottom are both very effective. 7 to 20 foot is the target depth. They can also be caught at night around the docks with lights on beetle spins and small swim baits .

🐱 Catfish are everywhere from the bank all the way out to 20 foot . Cutbait , minnows , fresh shad are all good choices . And if noodling is your deal it's that time of year . Those bigguns will be under boat ramps and bank washouts .

☀️ As the summer continues Lake Limestone Campground & Marina will be the best place to bank fish .

👍 The shad spawn continues and should last a couple more weeks . You can catch all you want between 5 and 6 a.m at the public boat ramps and at the marina .
Nows the time to build those offshore brush piles . Willow trees work best . Target depth is 15 to 18 foot on mainlake points .

🤩Time to start a new week.
Lake limestone fishing report from local guide Colan Gonzales 979-436-6200

Crappie are in 10 to 20 foot of water . We're catching em on Crappie minnows from anytime bait . They're hanging out on offshore brush piles and standing timber .

Largemouth are being caught on spinnerbaits, Texas rigs , frogs, and chatterbaits. The fry gaurders will be caught on weightless yum dingers .

Whitebass are hanging out on mainlake points and humps . They can be caught on silver war eagle super spoons off the bottom . Trolling rigs are also very effective. They're schooling from 8 to 20 foot deep . At night they can be caught around the docks with lights on em . Beetle spins and small swim baits are best for that .

Catfish are everywhere . Fresh shad or cutbait is best . Alot of big cats are being caught by noodling around boat ramps and bank wash outs. They can be caught shallow . And all the way out to 20 foot deep .

Water temp this week reached 82 for a high . In the mornings it's around 76 .

The shad spawn continues also . You can catch all you need an hour before daylight at the public ramps or at the marina .

Nows the time to build Crappie piles . Fresh willows are best .
Target depth is 15 to 18 foot on mainlake points.

As the summer continues Lake Limestone Campground & Marina
Will be the best place to bank fish .
