Asa Adirondack Rejuvenate! Home of the Adirondack Labyrinth, enjoy rustic luxury lodging & healing power of nature. Enjoy!

Summer 2016: Our family (Christine & Larry Powers) acquired 100 acres surrounding our "get-away" cabin and was moving from Albany, NY to the Adirondack Mountains full-time. We needed to live somewhere while renovations were going on to our tiny cabin. Home rentals hovered around $3,000 a month... so, as we own a construction business, we got busy building our own amazing outdoor summer home, a luxury campsite we affectionately named NEW GLAMPSHIRE. Our family lived at New Glampshire for 11 weeks and it was such an adventure! Now, we open the proverbial doors to you -- we invite you to get a taste of the wonder, majesty, fun and uniqueness of New Glampshire and living outdoors.

Silence is not the absence of sound; it is the presence of healing.

In a landmark study published in Heart, researchers discovered that two minutes of genuine silence between sounds was significantly more relaxing for the cardiovascular system than listening to calming music. Silence actually promotes the development of new brain cells in the hippocampus (the area governing memory and emotional regulation).

At Asa Adirondack, the only sounds you will hear are the wind through white pines, passing birds, and the soft crunch of gravel beneath your boots.

Give your brain the luxury of natural silence. Tap the link to schedule your visit!

Modern neuroscience confirms what ancient traditions knew thousands of years ago: rhythmic, non-goal-oriented walking changes how our brains function.

When you engage in slow, circular walking meditation:

- Your brain shifts out of high-frequency Beta waves (fight-or-flight overdrive) and into relaxed Alpha waves (calm, alert, reflective presence).
- The bilateral movement of walking coordinates both cerebral hemispheres, helping you process emotional stress without mental burnout.
- Rhythmic breathing synchronizes with your gait, activating the vagus nerve and downshifting your heart rate.
- True restoration is not passive exhaustion on the couch. It is moving your body through space in deep harmony with nature.

Experience the shift for yourself. Tap the link to book your autumn walk.

This Sunday, we add something new to the land.

During our September 20 Adirondack Labyrinth gathering for Peace Day, we will come together in ceremony to install a Peace Bracelet from the Buddhist monksโ€™ Walk for Peace in the heart of the Labyrinth.

The bracelet was gifted to Positive Inspiration with Christine Powers, our founder, after the monksโ€™ January 23 visiting hours in Apex, North Carolina, and has remained sealed and undisturbed until now.

On Sunday, it becomes part of Asa Adirondack.

A small object carrying a much larger intention:

Peace. Stillness. Community.

At a moment when the world can feel extraordinarily loud, we invite you to spend some time in a place devoted to something different.

Come walk.
Come breathe.
Come be with one another.
Come help us place another frequency of peace into this land.
