What a perfect day for our Saturday on the Farm Open House! ☀️

The day was filled with beautiful weather, delicious food, meaningful conversations, and an incredible sense of community.

We started the morning with a farm tour, meeting the animals and sharing thoughtful discussions about farming, food, and the importance of knowing where our food comes from.

Guests then gathered under the pavilion for a grass-fed burger lunch, accompanied by wonderful local live music.

To wrap up the day, we hopped on a hay wagon for a ride across the farm to visit the cows and explore two of our favorite farm-stay spots—Corn Crib Cabin and Big Pine.

Days like this remind us how grateful we are to share this place with such amazing people. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the day so special!

Happy pigs in their new home!

6 piglets made it to the farm today! All the was from Archway Farm in New Hampshire. Because we are Certified Animal Welfare Approved by A Greener World we purchase feeder piglets from other AWA farms to ensure the highest standards of welfare from birth to slaughter.
The relationship and trust we have formed between farms is the valuable part. In an ideal world we wouldn’t have to travel two states away for high welfare piglets. “Someday” as we say on the farm🙏
These pigs have access to fresh pasture, plenty of space to act out their pig behaviors, a wallow, shade and the essentials of food (no soy/corn) grain.
