Temperatures are brutally cold, and about to get even colder. If you or anyone you know needs shelter from the cold over the next few days, the city of Johnston City and JC's First Free-Will Baptist Church have set up a warming station at the church (609 Monroe Avenue) for anyone who needs it. Please contact the Pastor Keith Fletcher at (618) 521-5640 if you need shelter. PLEASE SHARE to help spread the word!

Our Campground :

Arrowhead Lake is a 30 acre clear water lake stocked with a variety of species: bass,bluegill, crappie, channel cat and sunfish.

Boats are allowed on the lake with trolling motors only. There is plenty of area along the shore for fishing. A handicap fishing pier and boat ramp are located by the concrete boat dock at the entrance to the campground. A large shelter is available ... for campers's "get-to-gathers."

A nature trail is located next to the campground. Here you will be treated to the sights and sounds of nature. You may catch a glimpse of Wild Turkeys, Deer, Raccoons, Squirrels, Ducks, Geese and many Spicies of Birds. Many spicies of Wildflowers are scattered throughout the area.

We have 65 camp sites, electric/water, 6 pull-thru, 6 primitive tent camping sites, a 30 acre lake, hiking trail, fishing, boating, a General Store, a laundry, and bathhouse. The campground is located 6 miles from the Marion Mall and Cenema 8, 1 mile from down town Restaurants, about 25 miles from a State Park, 2 miles from a Golf Course, approximately in a 30 mile radius of 4 large lakes and area Wineries.

A playground is located in the park adjacent to the campground.

The Johnston City Lions Club is proud to introduce this summer the new Pedal Boat rental at the Concession stand.
