Annual Pioneer Days this weekend! What glorious weather we have forecasted!!

10/14/2026

Remember: Spoiled food, even bagged is okay. No glass or containers with exception of Pizza Boxes!!! Pizza boxes go into organic waste, not recycling (as they are contaminated)

💚 Let's talk about your green barrel...

✅ DO put in: bagged food waste (even meat & dairy), food-soiled paper (napkins), and loose yard waste (leaves, grass, small branches)
🚫 DON'T put in: glass (even if it held food), pet waste, candy wrappers, liquids, oils, diapers, or trash

Thanks for keeping your green barrel free from contaminants!

A little reminder on sandbagging!

When building a longer barrier, teamwork makes the job faster and easier on your back. Have one person stack while another hands off the filled bags. Add more helpers to keep the line moving!

Stack smart: Lay bags in a brick-laying pattern, overlapping the seams for a stronger, more effective barrier.

No need to tie the tops! Just tuck the open end under the next bag and keep going.

YUMMM rolling chicken sando from Grnd Sqrl never disappoints!

how long has it been since you had a tassie?

this week’s chicken sando and one of our favorites, it’s a fried chicken thigh tossed in pepperberry dry rub, with lettuce, tomato, pepperoncini, blue cheese dressing and sriracha honey on a brioche bun.

the tassie is available in house or carry out/doordash, and is available for $20 with fries and a drink during happy hour 🍻

see you at the sqrl!
