Friends and fam of Boulder land….it was with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of our sweet office pups, Puffs. 😔

If you’ve been to Boulder anytime over the last 8 years, you’ve undoubtedly met Puffs, and probably his sister, Reeces. These two little pups thrived on being the best guard dogs. No one was getting into the lobby without first passing their strict approval process. (Barking and yelping to see if you had the courage to pass them, to enter the office 😂)

If you passed then test, chances are you were also able to sneak a few pats in here and there as well. Puffs was always rather particularly in who he let show him love, so if you were one those people…consider yourself very lucky ❤️

We will miss him dearly and his scrappy-yappy self, alterting us to bears, coyotes, or even just the UPS guy. 🤪

Sweet Puffs…enjoy the other side. We know you are probably terrorizing Oreo up there 😘🥹 tell her we said “HI!”

‼️🚨SCAM ALERT!!🚨‼️
Attention Guests: we received a phone call this morning alerting us to that fact that one of our guests was the target of an email scam, claiming to be us!!!! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t us‼️

To all of our valued guests, we will NEVER contact you via email requesting ANY financial info (credit card number, etc). We will ALWAYS call to ask for this information if needed. And it was always come from our phone number:. 760-648-7533. If you get an email from us, it’ll be [email protected]. If you book online, the auto email will be from [email protected]. We have NO other emails for reservations. Any other email is a scam!

We are actively working with our reservation hosting company to find out HOW this happened and how someone was able to access our guests reservation info. So far, we believe this to be an isolated incident, but we wanted to make everyone aware, just in case.

Stay safe out there, friends. Those scammers are getting crafty. 😑 and, as always…if you are EVER unsure of any type of communication from us, please call us at 760-649-7533. We are available from 9am-9pm PDT, daily.

Welp, we’re on day 5 of no power up here in June lake. As a result, it’s been very difficult for us to access our reservations. If you have a reservation for today, please be aware we have NO power. And NO estimated time of when it will be back on. If you’d like to cancel, please use the “WhatsApp” messaging feature on our website to contact us, as our phones are not working.

That’s said……here is the latest update from our county supervisor, Paul McFarland:

❄️⚠️Hi Everyone, we want to give you all an update. Things have been a little crazy and we appreciate your patience.

*Our weather cleared, but our ELECTRICITY is still out. Every business is dealing with different situations regarding heat, power, hours of operation etc. So if you’re planning on coming up, PLEASE contact the business directly.

June Mountain is Open today! They have been working extremely hard to get everything safe and ready for you all. For June Mountain operation info, download the Ikon app.

The Power down canyon is now back on.

Southern California Edison crews, plus their helicopter, is continuing work on the poles and lines feeding the The June Lake Village. We will update you all as soon as we get more information.

Caltrans and county road crews will continue to address berms and widen roads where possible.

The June Lake Community Center is currently open as an Emergency Shelter and warming center.

Mono County has declared a local emergency to enable expanded response and recovery. We are advocating to be included in the ongoing state Emergency Proclamation.

Drive slow and enjoy the beautiful freshies. Also, please be kind to our business owners, they have been put through the wringer with this storm.⚠️❄️

The Best Views in June Lake!

If you’ve stayed with us at any point over the last 6 years, you’ve probably seen our Oreo running around the grounds. Always ready to welcome guests into the lobby, and could usually be found stalking the grills on the patio, hoping someone would toss her a bite (which they usually did 🤭)

Sadly, today we had to say good bye to our sweet pup, Oreo. 🐶🌈❤️ She was the best dog and if we could have had her forever, we would have. 🐶

As this is a family business, and Oreo was family, we felt it was only right to let you know of her passing. 🌈🐶❤️
