Hello, September. 🍂
The mornings come a little cooler now. The lake gets quieter. The light hits differently. Somewhere along the shoreline, green is beginning to give way to gold.
This is Kabetogama when summer stops trying so hard.
There are still fish to catch, trails to wander, islands to explore, and evenings warm enough to spend outside. But now there's a sweatshirt hanging over the back of the chair. A little steam coming off the morning coffee. A reason to linger around the fire after dark.
No crowds. No hurry. No need to fit everything in.
Just come north and find your kind of fall.
