Malaekahana Beach Camp Grounds will accommodate you with:

1. Accommodation Rentals: Campsites, Vehicle Camping, Plantation Huts, Plantation Suites and Pavilion Village (Pavilion integrated with 5 Plantation Huts to accommodate families and groups) – see attached for sample renderings of Huts and Suites

2. Food Trailer: providing meals to guests and general public

3.Camp Store and Gift Shop: Camp essential merchandise and souvenirs

4.Activity Rentals: Bikes, Kayaks, Stand Up Paddle Board, Body Boards

Aloha….April 2026 update! We are eagerly awaiting the completion of the state’s infrastructure project at Malaekahana Beach Campground. Reopening dates will be confirmed and announced once the construction’s last phase is completed. We thank you for being patient and understanding. We can’t wait to see you!

Good Morning this is our March update: The states construction project has taken longer than expected and we are anxiously waiting for them to give us the green light. We will update when we know more! Hoping to see you all camping again soon!

Just a reminder our office and camp grounds are currently closed due to state renovations. We are hoping to reopen this summer, but we don’t have a set date. Please continue to follow us as we will be posting updates when available.

If you made reservations online and got a permit, that is not us. If your reservation permit has a Hawaii State Parks logo then your reservations are for Malaekahana State Recreation Area.
