It's high time we acknowledge that greater oversight and better modeling are the need of the hour to tackle this issue. Let's take action now and ensure that our environment and communities are safe and protected for generations to come. The one area I am concerned about is the potential to limit organic material from going into municipal landfills. We need the material to create and sustain the methanogenic process to reduce the long-term risk posed by landfill management teams to spread the risk of emissions for an even longer time into the future.
