$20/hr — Bedroom Cleaner | Kalamazoo Cleaners

We clean short and mid-term rentals around Kalamazoo and Portage. Adding one person to the team.

More on the position:
You start at 10:15 AM with the team. Bedrooms are yours, strip the beds, clean and sanitize the room properly, remake every bed with fresh linens so it looks like a hotel. When your rooms are done, you pitch in on the rest of the house. We finish together, nobody clocks out early while someone else is still working.

ALWAYS done by 4:00, at the latest. About 10-15 hrs/week, and it moves with bookings. Sunday is our busiest day so we need you available. Schedule goes out two weeks ahead, but there will likely be additional cleans within that 2 weeks added.

This is NOT for you if: you need Monday–Friday only, you don't have a reliable insured vehicle, or making 6-18 beds in an afternoon sounds like too much. It's a physical role.

This IS for you if: you can make a bed that looks like the photo, you notice the hair on the pillow that everyone else walked past, and you'd rather leave a house right than leave it fast.

$20/hr, W-2, paid weekly through ADP. All supplies provided. Discounted stays at our properties.

Checkout day at Jayden's Place and Jayda's Place, and wouldn't you know it, Jayden and Jayda showed up to help clean their own cottages. Best turnover crew in Kalamazoo County.

Only problem, we went over budget for the day as they no longer work for candy and ice cream. 🍦

Some good news out of City Hall this week.

After a nearly year long road through the Natural Features Protection Review Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals, we have approval to build on West Cork Street. Three single family homes are also going up on Imperial St.

These are lots that have sat vacant for decades. They were platted as individual building lots generations ago, and that's exactly how they'll be built.

What took so long is also what we're most proud of. These parcels are wooded and steep, and the ordinance protects both. So we redesigned. We pulled driveways back. We cut the disturbance to the protected slope by nearly half. On every lot, we're preserving more woodland than the ordinance requires, and more than half of each lot will stay untouched. Protective fencing goes up before a single tree comes down.

Thank you to the NFP Review Board and the ZBA for a thorough process, and to the city staff who worked through the details with us.

We're looking for someone with a sharp eye and high standards to join our short-term rental team!
You'll start your day at our office at 9:45 AM, pick up restocking supplies, and head out to our properties. Your job is to restock each home with essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, drinks, coffee items, welcome bucket goodies, baby items, breakfast items. You'll then do a quality walkthrough to make sure the cleaning team didn't miss anything before guests check in.

If something's off, like trash left behind, a dirty bathroom, an unemptied garbage can, you snap a photo and report it to management. In rare situations when our cleaning teams get backed up, you may be asked to assist with light cleaning to keep us on schedule.

Simple, straightforward, always done by 4:00 PM.

🚗 Must have your own reliable vehicle and clean driving record
