Paria River Ranch Our names are Jeff and Steph. We are the new owners of Paria River Ranch located in Kanab, Utah. We are lovers of the earth, animals and nature.

Paria River Ranch offers world class trails and some of the most unique riding in the Paria Canyon, Vermillion Cliffs and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Our ranch/healing center/sanctuary rests on 24+ acres of magical land at the bottom of Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. The universe gifted us this very special place and it is our mission to share it with those that want

to connect to the land, animals, and your hearts. The ranch is on sacred land and we ask you come and leave with love in your hearts. We will continue with horse camping and will be offering Equine Guided Education, Equine Therapy, Equine Yoga, earth/heart connection trail rides and other healing modalities. We will offer equine based healing retreats as well as be a location for you to organize yours. We will be doing some updates and minor facelifts around the ranch. We plan to add more RV hookups and covered corrals. Our accommodations include: full RV hookups, electric hookups, dry camping, tent sites, a bunk house, a small cabin, a larger cabin, an airstream and 20 corrals for people traveling with their horses. Some of the best riding in North America is right in this area. Come enjoy a short or long stay! We look forward to having you!!!

WE NEED IMMEDIATE SUMMER HELP!

Our temporary animal caretakers have been a huge help. They stepped in to help fill the gap and we are so grateful. They’re fabulous!!! Unfortunately the right person/people have not come through yet for our summer needs. We need someone July 6-September 6 with the option to stay longer. Then, we are filling our 2 fall positions. Couples are great! We have found horse campers are the best for animal care. We give free FHU and board for horses in exchange for animal care in AM and PM. Really flexible so there’s plenty of time to ride and explore. Recently we had Holly Smith Foy and Chappells Horsin’ Around. Drew and Becky went on daily adventures and Holly often joined them. Holly now works for Brooke full time. They each worked 3 1/2 days. AMs and PMs to feed, turn out, muck, do waters, and groom. We really need someone or a couple or friends to come now! URGENT!

Hi everyone. We had another couple, who sounded great, just cancel on us. They were supposed to arrive tomorrow and literally just told us their plans changed. We really need some summer help! Looking for fall help too. Can anyone come help?

Schedule: only work early morning feed and chores and evening feed and chores.
AM-about 2 hours as a single or 1 hour as a couple. PM-about 1 hour single or 30 minutes as a couple.

The entire day is yours!!!

We just need the basic needs of the animals covered.

6 horses, 6 goats, a pig, several cats, 3 chickens.

Couples welcome, pets welcome, horses welcome. Free board and housing or FHU.

*MUST have horse knowledge and experience!!!
