Home to our Western Legends of Utah’s Little Hollywood, Parry Lodge was founded by the Parry Brothers Whit, Chauncy and Gronway in 1931. It has hosted some of the biggest names from the golden age of Hollywood. John Wayne, Frank Sinatra, James Garner, Gregory Peck, Maureen O'Hara, Tyrone Power, Omar Shariff, Sammy Davis Jr, Anne Baxter, Dean Martin, Yvonne DeCarlo, Ronald Reagan and Barbara Stanwyck are just a few of the hundreds of stars and character players that stayed at Parry's while filming in the many scenic locales in and around Kanab, Utah. The Parry Lodge was opened by the three Parry brothers, Whit, Chaunce, and Gronway in the early 1930's as a haven for big Hollywood studios. The brothers, who already provided the companies with transportation to movie sites with their busing company, decided to open a lodge/restaurant to cater to the needs of the growing movie business in Kane County. Guests can even stay in rooms that over 200 stars such as, Don Knotts, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and even John Wayne stayed in. If you take a walk through our lobby you will be rushed back into a time when the western genre ruled the movie business. You will see many pictures of old western actors, many of which are personally autographed. We are also conveniently located in the center of the Grand Canyon North Rim, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and Lake Powell.
