The many personalities of Clea. 🐾🎨 Dark Sky’s favorite live-in kitty has become quite the muse. Guests and kids love coloring their own version of our resident queen and leaving their masterpieces behind for us to enjoy.

Our kind of Sunday: coffee, a good book, and a visit from Clea at your site. Just the Queen stopping by to leave a little extra Dark Sky magic behind. ✨🐾👑

Dark Sky is officially 6 today! 🎉

Last night’s Perseid meteor shower was the perfect way to celebrate, and we captured some stunning photos beneath the Milky Way. We’re incredibly grateful for our Dark Sky family—our returning guests, friends, and camp hosts who have made this place what it is and continue to support us year after year. 💫

There’s something special about the Fourth of July in a small town, especially Kanab.

The streets come alive with vendors, music, parades, and neighbors gathering to celebrate together. The day builds toward one of our favorite moments of the year: fireworks lighting up the sky against the backdrop of Kanab’s red rocks. 🇺🇸✨

This year feels even more meaningful as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday. We’re excited to be part of the parade so be sure to come out and root us on!

And the celebration doesn’t stop there. We’ll be kicking off the weekend on Friday night with a special inspiring documentary on the Terrace, and joining the nationwide potluck on Sunday, bringing people together around good stories, good food, and great company.

If you’re spending the holiday with us, you’re in for a memorable weekend.

At a time when genuine care and memorable experiences seem to be fading, we’ve made it our mission to keep them alive.
