Who we choose to move about this world with makes a real, tangible difference. At any turn you can see, hear, and feel the shift that just one person can make in your life.
As Darren Hardy writes in The Compound Effect:
“According to research by social psychologist Dr. David McClelland of Harvard, [the people you habitually associate with] determine as much as 95 percent of your success or failure in life.”
Isn’t that powerful?! That the consequences of your connections can bring life or death? Success or failure? Love or hate?
The lesson here to be intentional about who you bring into your life AND who you keep in it and I must say, we understood the assignment. 😏
In January of 2021 I met with Samantha Salem at The Opera House. She reached out with questions about short term rentals. That was the first time we realized that not only could we teach each other so much, but many of our dreams, goals, and ideas aligned in such a BIG way.
Shortly after Heather Marie and I decided that we wanted to create and share Suite Tea with the world, we reached out to Sam. The energy we sparked in that first conversation was fu***ng amazing and long story short, Sam became our very first investor.
That was in March of 2021.
She believed in Heather and I, she believed in our vision, and She believed in Suite Tea and it’s future.
There was never a moment when we had to say “trust us, Sam. We can do this.” She just trusted us and we trusted her and that trust built a foundation we could build on.
So we did.
After we set things in stone with Sam, we very literally hit the ground running. In no time at all, Heather and I went from 0 to 60 and started building our ver first Village at Watkins "C" Ranch.
We opened our village on April 16th 2021.
Fast forward into August, we were having talks with Sam about each of our futures and goals and the future of Suite Tea and we all came to
This very real, very obvious conclusion…
We needed to officially bring Sam into the fold.
She had already became our close friend and mentor, but the empire we wanted to build needed her. So Heather and I spoke, decided that was the next move, and Sam was ready… she stays ready. That’s why she’s our kind of woman.
So, today I’d like to publicly introduce Samantha Salem as the CFO and newest co-founder of Suite Tea. Sam, you are a phenomenal woman and have already poured so much into us and into this empire we’re building together and it’s our honor to soar with you.
WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME!
Our future is bright and in the words of the Suite Tea team, “There ain’t s**t we can’t do!”
