Packing for Denali Backcountry Lodge? A little planning goes a long way in Kantishna.

We provide helpful essentials for your stay, including a hiking day pack, trail guide, bug net, water bottle, trail snacks, binoculars, bear spray for unguided hiking and activities, bug spray, rain gear, an umbrella and hiking poles.

We recommend bringing comfortable shoes for traveling and lounging, hiking boots, sandals for sauna or spa time, a warm hat for cool nights, a brimmed hat for sunny days, hiking pants, a swimsuit and layers like T-shirts, a long sleeve shirt, a sweater and a rain jacket.

If you like to document the journey, don’t forget your camera — and a book or e-reader is always a nice extra for downtime.
