Who has this hike on their bucket list 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏽‍♂️
It takes proper planning, lots of sweat and maybe some tears
But quite an accomplishment
You may see someone else’s trash along the way
Be a good sport and pack some out
Don’t leave anything behind even if you think someone else will use it
These special places need our respect and love 🧡

When you live on a small island where does our trash go? Believe it or not if it’s not buried in a landfill it is shipped off island. Meaning our tax dollars are paying for our trash to be sorted, transported to the dock, and then shipped to another facility off island. Here’s a couple of easy steps to not only incorporate into when you’re camping but also in day-to-day life. And check out they are doing some amazing things for island.
