The coconut is part of the story of the Pacific, and here on the Coconut Coast, that story is worth celebrating.
Long before modern industries shaped Hawai'i, niu was valued for food, drink, shelter, weaving, tools, and everyday materials. That connection is still part of island life today.
The Kaua'i Coconut Festival brings that history into the present with local food, cultural demonstrations, music, crafts, and a whole lot of community spirit.
