REMINDER: CLOSED FOR ANNUAL MAINTENANCE THIS WEEKEND (7/31-8/2). PLEASE SHARE!!
believe we updated ALL FB, Google, website etc) and yes day 3-? Of our doing on's... Didn't post on purpose.. so no posts for last few days so folks know were CLOSED other then THIS!
Well had to share this picture in the least! SO excited to open back up!

Day #2 : well said id post both the good & not so good... yesterday (more incidents & challenges to say the least)
- main key word: INSURANCES! Hours was put on hold, referred to another number... on hold again...then amother & another.
Results: HEALTH (which we do not have... from 1 visit back in march- ya all remember C's constant coughing fits? - against my wishes wanted to assure not sick or contagious for others... it was just allergies (as every year). Blood pressure taken, temperature, 10 minute office visit, no further appointments & no prescription given $415!! This is insane!! Why I haven't gone to Dr's in over 10 years. Itll get paid but not happily :( cause afterall it could've been something more serious (looking frim a positive aspect)
RESULTS: BUILDING insurance... still working on that 1 though I do have high hopes of a pleasant outcome.. our Agent is awesome to work with AND pays attention too! Thanks Dubler insurance (Rob) as well as our farm with Millville (Rita)!!
Result: REAL ESTATE: 2-1/2 months into this 'transfer of my license of 28 years'. Now this Has been the most difficult.. still not resolved. On lighter note I do believe the hold up is yet another 'new software/portal communication issue'. We are finally getting to speak to persons of knowledge and hopefully all back 100% within few days! Thanks to PA State House of Representatives for the assistance!
Result of day? Brain fried & glad i dont have to sit behind 4 walls & behind a desk day in & day out! You that do are ROCK STAR s!!!
P.s. chris & I did get more clean up at Quehanna as well as more steps towards our lean to project for larger animal shelter for weather conditions. AND had campfire & awesome grilled burgers & farm fresh salad to end the day
Now onto day 3 (taking CHARGE baby... this day is going to be Productive!!!!! with a capital -P-!!!! Air hugs to all! C&C

VERY LONG POST (Cause its day 1... continue to read if you want to follow the 12 days of C&C. Im gonna give this a try (if ya ain't into reality... the happiest of times along with the not so much.. just merely skip us).. beeeecauuuuzzzz.... SO many (& don't mean 10.. 20.... many more asked us to share our daily how do we do it? And now its our weekend off?? 'vacation'... which is a 'stay/work cation'. Aka time to get er done! Both personally & professionally! YES!,we will be spontaneously stopping for last minute downtime.. but no way to say the who what when or where! Here it goes...
Day 1:
#1 Start of stocking our 2nd pond @ BF Farm (main source with 'irrigation' for multiple pastures for our livestock...2+ years Sir Christopher & Capital Improvements excavating have been working on!) Thank you Zetts Fish Hatchery once again (extra ♡ for the pond Lilly purchases)
#2 Yep! Vehicle exchange program including farm equipment lol constant repairs thank you to Ryan Maney & Turners Auto repair! Ya both take care of us on a whim
#3 Our Miss Betsy gave birth! Was told she never calved before... and here we are! It still worries us... cause she just doesn't seem herself.. if that sounds strange well... just a worry for any 1st... as you can see we are constantly checking & both seem great! Welcome yet ANOTHER bull! Dang CAESAR must be building his legacy?? Welcome 'Weeds' Anyone interested in purchasing a bull? Contact us!
#4 fridge breakdown... resolved
#5 building a wall in Quehanna b4 reopen (awesome last minute request that D Stefan Contracting met with us tonight! He & his men are BEYOND amazing & VERY professional & accountable!!
#6 New menu Quehanna Lodge is in print mode... hoping this was our biggest work day ... rest just more humble & slower??

What a glorious morning @ BF Farm! Stayed there last night to get extra early start on the day! Woke up to birds chirping, mama cows calling their youngin's in (it was feeding time) & well you get it right? the pigs, the goats, the chickens all waiting for us to SERVE them! We are definitely their providers so to speak as the Good Lord above is to us ;) .... and THEN...
To the garden we went... freshly picked/pulled for extra Side SPECIAL is my Nanny Long's family recipe of 'Creamy Bacon (smoked this round) Lettuce Salad'.. though serving the dressing on the side so ya all can enjoy whatever creamiest your little ole heart desires!
Dont forget the last of our Homemade Beef Vegetable as well (BF Farm does provide!)
P.s forgot our 2 once geese must've decided to have a family reunion today ❤️

Our heads are still spinning ftom last weekend! Ya all made sure the food & drinks kept coming! BESTEST Weekend yet in the books! We only sold out of tenders! All else.... well see for yourself lol barest my freezer in 11 years!
