We are deeply concerned about the Town’s proposed increase in beach parking pass fees. This change would not only affect property owners and taxpayers, but also the many guests who choose to vacation here and contribute to our local economy. Convenient and affordable beach access is an important part of what makes Kennebunk such a special destination.
The Salt Meadow Landing Homeowners Association has launched a Change.org petition asking the Town to reconsider the proposed fee increase. I encourage you to take a moment to read the petition, sign it if you agree, and share it with friends, family, neighbors, and others who care about preserving reasonable public beach access.

We also encourage you to attend the upcoming meeting and make your voice heard. It is important that Town officials understand how strongly residents, property owners, and visitors feel about this issue. A strong community presence will help demonstrate the widespread concern over maintaining fair and affordable access to our beaches.
