This is a great time of year to visit the Hill Country!

Y'all, it might finally feel like fall. Today's high is in the upper 80s, but our first big cold front is coming. Friday is forecast to top out around 65, then temperatures dip to about 45 overnight into Saturday morning.

Expect plenty of dogs with the zoomies this weekend. For the rest of us, sweater weather has been a long time coming.

The Water Street Festival returns to downtown Kerrville for its second year on October 24th, 9 am to 3 pm.

Music on the street, artists painting on site, vendors set up along the block, and plenty of food and drinks. There's also a free kids' zone with trick-or-treating.

We were just there last week, the Carnitas omelette was amazing and Lisa’s taco is an entire plate of deliciousness! 😋 Everyone was so friendly. It’s basically across the street from Our Happy Place, just off the freeway. Give them a try, you’ll be glad you did!
