Planning your week in the Florida Keys? There are several events happening across the island chain from August 24 through August 30.

For something close to Glunz Ocean Beach Hotel & Resort, the Dolphin Research Center’s Dolphin Sunset Celebration takes place in Marathon on Wednesday, August 26. The Florida Keys Tourism Council calendar describes it as a once-a-month evening experience at the Dolphin Research Center.

Heading toward Key West? The week includes Key West Farmers Market on Thursday, August 27, Key West Brewfest 2026 beginning Friday, August 28 and continuing through September 1, and Summer Studio Series #7: Cirque, running August 28 through August 30.

There are also events throughout the Keys, including the Florida Keys Farmers Market in Islamorada on Sunday, August 30.

Event schedules can change, so checking the official event information before heading out is always a good idea.

Havana Jack’s Oceanside Restaurant & Bar will be taking its annual seasonal break beginning September 8, 2026.

After another great season of oceanfront dining, the restaurant will close for a short seasonal break and plans to resume business on October 1, 2026.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for a meal, a drink, an evening by the water, or simply stopped in to enjoy the atmosphere. Your continued support means so much to our team.

If you’re visiting the Florida Keys before September 8, there’s still time to enjoy Havana Jack’s Oceanside before the seasonal break. And for those planning a fall visit, we’ll look forward to welcoming you back when we reopen on October 1.

This week, Key West is hosting Rum Fest Key West, taking place August 10 through August 16. The festival features rum-focused events, live music, culinary experiences, and activities throughout the week in Key West.

The week also includes special Rum Fest entertainment at Key West Theater, including performances by Cliff Cody & Sharese on August 14 and Jesse Rice on August 15.

Whether you're spending the day exploring Key West, enjoying local music, or simply taking in the atmosphere of the Florida Keys, there is always something happening nearby.
