Over 200 years ago on Kiawah Island the Vanderhorst family carved out this oak-lined trail to the beach from their home facing the marsh. It was restored in 1995 to be used once again to transport visitors to Kiawah's beautiful 10 mile beach. Along the way you might be surprised by deer or an illusive fox or bobcat!
